Gina Gianetti
Spa Manager/Lead Aesthetician
Gina Gianetti is a licensed aesthetician who has been practicing state-of-the-art skin care since 1994. She was educated at the industry-leading Elizabeth Grady School of Aesthetics. Gina was drawn to aesthetics and cosmetic skin care due to her desire to make a lasting contribution to the way people look and feel about themselves.
Gina has found the real joy of her work comes in seeing clients who have been truly transformed after several spa sessions. As Gina explains, "It is not simply how improved they look, but it is the sparkle in their eyes that is the real accomplishment of my work."
Gina has also gained extended education in skin care products, medical aesthetics, and spa therapy, along with specialized training in pigmentary disorders, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and microcurrent therapy. She also specializes in the treatment of both aging and hyper-pigmented skin.
Gina is experienced and trained in some of the highest quality skin care products available in the market today. She is currently using a number of state-of-the-art aesthetic procedures (including Obagi® and GlyMed) to enhance natural beauty, sun damage, age spots, and other appearance issues. Gina has also been trained and certified on the Candela GentleMAX Laser to perform laser hair removal, treatment of pigmentation problems, and skin tightening.
Gina also has experience assisting surgeons with patient consults and reviews, as well as BOTOX® treatments and Dermal Fillers. She is experienced in assisting in biopsies, skin cancer detection, mole removal, and blepharoplasty surgeries. With her credentials in cosmetic makeup techniques, she can also assist clients in both aesthetics and makeup options.
Before joining GloMD, Gina owned her own successful spa business, and managed several aesthetic care facilities. She has authored several articles on skin care, and is active in
Woman in Business issues in the New England area.
Stephanie Walsh
Master Aesthetician/Laser Technician
Stephanie is a graduate of the Master Esthetics Certification Program at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
Experienced and trained in some of the premier skin care products available on the market today, Stephanie specializes in age management. She is certified in laser hair reduction, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, hydrafacials and aromatherapy. She has also been trained and certified on the Candela GentleMAX Laser to treat pigmentation irregularities and perform vein removal.
Skilled in assisting with blepharoplasty surgeries, BOTOX® treatments and Dermal Fillers, Stephanie exemplifies the highest standards that GloMD represents.
Kathleen Serio, R.N.
Kathleen Serio, a graduate of Boston College, has been practicing as a Registered Nurse for over twenty years. In 2001, she received her aesthetic training at the Beauty Therapies Institute of Medical Aesthetics in Brookline, MA., and established her own private aesthetic practice. In 2009 Kathy, received the distinguished honor of becoming a cosmetic trainer for Allergan Facial Aesthetics, makers of the leading products BOTOX and Juvederm. Kathleen's thorough assessment and technique has allowed her to develop a loyal clientel by providing a very personal experience with proven results. Kathy recognizes the need for advice, education, and a skilled hand to help each client attain their optimal appearance and personal cosmetic goals.
Dr. Daniel Townsend, MD
Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon
Over the course of his 20-year career, Dr. Daniel Townsend has performed over 5,000 blepharoplasties (eyelid surgeries).
Dr. Townsend is certified by both the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Ophthalmology. After receiving his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Townsend completed his internship and residency at various Harvard teaching hospitals in Boston, and a fellowship in Oculoplastic/Orbital Diseases and Surgery at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Townsend is on the teaching faculty at Harvard Medical School and Tufts Medical School, and is the former Co-Director of the Oculoplastics Service at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. He is an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the New England Ophthalmologic Society, and the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
In 1994, Dr. Townsend co-authored the best-selling medical text, Atlas of Eyelid Surgery, which has sold thousands of copies in the United States and abroad.
